" These Butcher's from (Slupsk/Wejherowo/Bytów) don't profess to be old school or new school or deathcore or any other fucken thing....Just Death Metal played in a melodic,Technical,Crushing fashion bringing to mind Decapitation,Morbid Angel but doing it in a fresh and exciting way. This record exudes sinister riffs and awesome technical solo's done with great thought and no filler....These guys know how to write songs !.....From the opening of 'Sea Of Truth' C.H. display bruising but catchy riffs and deep vocals that fit in perfectly. I always think that the difference between good and great records is in the little nuances..And this LP has them in spades...From the backing vocal shouts to the Middle Eastern influenced solo's to the short but to the point tracks "

Clocking in at about 33 minutes long, Necropolis shows up, kicks your ass and then is done before you have time to get bored or sick of it. Every riff is timed to stay just as long as it needs to. " Having seen the classic Canadian band Voivod many times...I wondered if there would ever be a band that had that same vibe,technique...out there approach "

" Low and behold.. Myopia has got what Im looking for....The major influence is obviously Voivod, although I would say that Myopia's music is more technical and overtly progressive than anything Voivod ever did. Occasionally a bit of Meshuggah's stoccatto-style riffing also appears. They inject a lot of challenging and obscure chords into their riffs. There are probably a lot of other progressive influences in there that I can't quite pinpoint. This record has nothing to do with the typical Death Metal scene in poland...instead a very challenging listen that will take you a few listens to get into......But it is worth it !!

Fans of Voivod and obscure progressive metal...Try this !

The keyboards take a higher seat in the mix - a bold and very effective feat. Yet Lost Soul remain brutal and blast beats rule this record all the way through. Vocals sound a bit like nergal of Behemoth. Its the machine gun drumming and the heavy guitars that carry this Lp. The guitars consist of 100mph riffage and short to the point solos...With a touch of melody thrown in also. The Drumming is nothing short of amazing!...Technical,fast,and in time with the guitars"
