" This has made this album a huge improvement compared to the fine debut(breath of the demiurg) proved by the immensely tight sounding compositions. The guitar riffs, on one hand, display an almost banal form of brutality ('Wolves at the Gates'), whereas on the other hand, the atmosphere of a song is always respected ('Opus Morbidity', 'The Hate Chamber'). What the riffs seem to have in common throughout the entire record is their enormous simplicity; Demiurg shows that one doesn't have to play 385 notes per second to create an awesome death metal song. This one has a Old-School feel and at the same time atmospheric/Progressive touches here and there. Quality release !
