He's at his lethal best on the bludgeoning "The Source to Delve ", backed by pounding riffs and manic rhythms, as well as the melodic yet raging inferno of "Into Sulphur I Descend ". The drumming is varied with a good use of rolls, fills and whenever a track calls for it: blastbeats. The double bass drums are used the old school way: to accent heavy, darker or faster parts. This is definitely a nice change with today's bands who just blast double bass drums without any real sense of purpose or direction"
